It is finally here the continuation of the Fate/Extra trainwreck anime that no one wanted, but of course japan won't disappoint us and still releases it.

Story
I think it actually has a story, but the anime does a terrible job at it and it is nearly impossible to understand what is even going on and they tried in the second half of this special to throw in some explanation, but this ended only as some info dump and in the end it didn't helped at all to understand the story.

Art
The Art in the anime is one of the worst artstyles I have ever seen and it ...

Fate/Extra Last Encore is basically what happens when you put the IDEAS GUY in charge of everything rather than working on the project as a group. Nasu clearly had a story that he wanted to tell, but it wasn't done in a way that was fun to watch or easy to understand, making the show seem like a convoluted mess at a first glance. While they claimed that Last Encore was written in a way so that people who are familiar with Fate/Extra's setting and people who aren't could enjoy it equally, the outcome ended up being the complete opposite. Where did it all go ...

The crowds have stationed once again. The blazing curtains rose one more time. The long-awaited final act has arrived at last. Who could have guessed, once the pieces were finally put together, once everything clicked, that this play would be covered in rotten tomatoes?

These new and even returning adversaries are pure dirt in comparison to the more fascinating ones faced prior. The main lead himself proves to be a waste as well this time around. Even the production, which shined beautifully at first, slowly degraded as everything began coming apart at the seams as everything stops moving! The director of this performance no longer had ...

I’ll be a special snowflake here. I think it deserves a 7.6/10 based on just the 3 episodes. Including the whole show, it would be a 6/10. Shaft's direction and art-style never ceases to amaze me. They insert weird shots of characters moving their lips or eyes that you just don't see coming, to the point it can kind of freak you out, and I'm saying that as a positive. It's not often you get these dynamic camera shots, and Shaft is one of the few that loves doing those. I love it; maybe I'm a masochist viewer. Also, I guess I like reading a ...

Rin: Leo is the strongest Master to ever participate in the Holy Grail War

Hey I'm MC, I defy all logics, power scales, and everything else. I can get absolutely decimated but thanks to my special ability "MC" I can survive and come back 100x stronger, literally. Getting absolutely pubstomped 10 mins ago only to booty clap the same person 10 mins later.

Get outta my face with that. The only thing that was slightly enjoyable was the action that happened for 1 min. Power scale is god awful in this particular series, giving ...

Reviewer's note: This is my 18th entry into the Fate franchise and this review encompasses all 13 episodes.

✪ Genre: action (swordplay, gunfights), contemporary fantasy, magic (spellcasting), RPG, seinen, (superpower) with elements of sci-fi (artificial intelligence, post-apocalyptic, dystopia, virtual world)

✔Positive Aspects✔

◧ Animation: even though this series was created by Shaft, the design standards fit the same mold that previous studios followed - a combination of colors of moderate to low saturation/medium to high illumination, with the environment and landscapes, urban, natural and surreal, being comparably more "muted".

◧ Soundtrack: cool soundtrack, mostly dominated by slow and medium tempo orchestral music, whereas, and more infrequently, new age ...

There is one thing that hurts any viewer more than watching a bad conclusion to a show. And that one thing is waiting months to watch a bad conclusion to a show. What were they thinking?

Fate/Extra Last Encore - Irusterias Tendousetsu is a writing disaster, not even when the topic is the story in itself - the script is also a headless, footless monster.

Shaft has again proven itself to prefer visual scripting rather than anything else. The show looks good. The visuals are well-constructed and the camera angles are nicely presented. Heck, even the animation is better than the prequel. Visual presentation is only ...

After watching those 3 episodes I can now say it for sure.

This is a great anime that that only has one downside...the fate fandom.

I don't really view it as a perfect 10 but I just had to give that rating to do my best and even out what was ruined but what seems to be a bunch of ungrateful fans that for some reason are not able to accept when something different is good.

The story was good until the very end and Shaft did an amazing job in bringing their stile to fate.

I can only confirm what I said in my other review on the ...

ill say it here and now, the art style and the composition is for the series is extremely well done
i garuntee you that most of the people who disliked this are hardcore type moon otakus with ridiculously high standards and really this series is fun and i like the mc and Nero, i wouldnt say its the best thing ever but i really enjoyed it. id say if youve watched fate stay night give this a try. and if its not for you thats fine just dont leave hate comments discouraging people to watch a work that was well produced.
Positives;
Music; the music seems to really ...

Hey it's Fragments of 2030 guy - Every FGO Player seeing this

UMU UMU, the last encore finishes and the curtains closes in the confusing yet highly thematic installment of Fate/EXTRA Last Encore.

Fate/Extra: Last Encore - Illustrias Tendousetsu is the conclusion of Fate/LAST Encore, following Hakuno, Red Saber and Rin to the seventh floor and to their final destination, The Mooncell Automation.

The seventh floor focusing on Leonardo Bistario "Leo" Harwey voiced by Romi Park and his servant Gawain voiced by Takahiro Mizushima as their ideals are put up to the final fight, one fighting for stagnation, the other fighting to change the future for good. The ...

This is the ending of Fate/Extra: Last Encore.

The good news is that it does provide some of the answers that were left unanswered by the "main" series.

This time we get a little bit more action but it's a shame that it doesn't make sense. SPOILERS. We have a servant capable of unleashing his Noble Phantasm twice in a row and another servant gets a huge power boost out of nowhere... just because.

The final episode had no climax at all, in fact everything was dragged to the bottom of the ocean. We already know the story, we already know the characters, we already ...

Nihilism and anger issues are some themes I never expected to be explored in a Fate installment.

This is anime is a hot mess, but is it a bad mess, or a good one? Let's find out.

Well, for starters, Fate/Extra: Last Encore (I'll be calling it Last Encore for short) has a lot of contrivance, whether you can stomach said contrivance or not is up to you; if you're looking for some sensical Shounen-esque action, go find it somewhere else. Bullshit will happen left and right, but once you start accepting the illogical as part of this world's logic, you'll start appreciating other aspects of the ...

I will be honest I'm not the best at writing reviews but I will do the best I can here. I do feel like this show is pretty underrated. So let me go over what, in my opinion, is good, bad, and confusing about this pretty decent series.

THE GOOD:
So the plot was actually very enjoyable. The whole idea about characters in a digital world and being self aware of that fact is a hard thing to pull off. A lot of originality existed within the plot.

Clichés left to a bare minimum you almost never saw something that you have seen a million ...

What if saber went full UwU, hahahahahhahaha jk. Well shit now we got it to.

This is a review for season 1 and 2 for what is worth it. Fate/Extra is an alternative setting for Fate/Stay. As such there are elements overlapping in both anime. But that’s it. There is no relation to each other what so ever. So when you watch this keep that in mind.

Story:
Typical Fate/ story. Boy who was actually not involved in the grail war at all gets pulled in and gets a saber class servant. An important aspect is not if Hakonu (mc) will reach the moon cell, but how. As ...
